SnapLogic Powers Spirent's Generative AI Transformation

By Greg Tavarez

Spirent Communications, a company focused on testing, assurance and automation for network, cloud and cybersecurity technologies, has aimed to streamline its operations and reduce costs associated with its existing data and application integration solutions. These on-premise solutions were proving to be cumbersome and expensive to maintain.

To address these challenges and accelerate GenAI-powered business processes, Spirent sought a new solution.

One of the initial use cases for this new solution was to revamp a time-consuming manual process that burdened the business intelligence and sales teams. This process involved spending several hours daily on go-to-market tasks. As you can imagine, it impacted productivity.

A GenAI-powered solution would help Spirent automate routine and repetitive tasks, such as data extraction, analysis and report generation. This would not only save time but also improve accuracy and consistency in the output. Additionally, the solution could potentially enhance decision-making by providing real-time insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

That is why Spirent chose SnapLogic – to improve their integration efficiency and the pace of GenAI application development.

SnapLogic is a tool that helps businesses modernize their operations. It makes it easier and quicker to connect different systems and data sources, so teams can automate tasks, share information more easily and create new digital products and services.

SnapLogic's tool for building AI applications, GneAI App Builder, has become popular very quickly. It's the first tool of its kind that lets people create AI applications without needing to write code. Customers easily build these applications using a simple interface, and they do it in just a short amount of time.

“After comparing all available platforms on the market, SnapLogic proved to be the highest performing solution,” said Matt Bostrom, Vice President of Enterprise Technology, Spirent. “With the ability to seamlessly build GenAI applications in-house using SnapLogic’s GenAI App Builder in just a matter of days, SnapLogic has been essential in automating processes, eliminating costly resources, streamlining business operations and presenting the internal teams with relevant AI powered information within applications they are already familiar with.”

Spirent utilized GenAI App Builder to create an internal sales intelligence tool that delivered pre-synthesized, summarized customer and competitive information for sales and support teams. This is a process that previously took team members more than eight hours per week to complete manually.

Well, in the first 90 days after deployment, Spirent saw a 25% increase in business intelligence worker productivity and is expecting a 5% increase in sales productivity.

“Spirent recognized the transformative power of GenAI for their business and had the courage to drive their vision into production, utilizing our best-in-class solutions to orchestrate AI technology to streamline their customer intelligence operations and deliver to its teams,” said Jeremiah Stone, Chief Technology Officer of SnapLogic. “This is just the tip of the iceberg."
