Happy Friday, readers. As the saying goes, "TGIF!"
On GenAI Today, we often see the capabilities generative artificial intelligence brings as it continues to surpass its analytical counterpart by conjuring entirely new realities. But that’s not all that is happening.
Let’s take a look to see what’s going on around GenAI.
Businesses Warned of 2-year Window to Capitalize on GenAI
A report by Genpact and HFS Research finds companies must accelerate generative AI adoption to avoid falling behind competitors. While most organizations are investing in the technology, few have mature initiatives. The research highlights the need to balance productivity gains with broader business goals like customer satisfaction and revenue growth. Data quality and new engagement models are crucial for success. The report categorizes companies into four maturity levels based on AI investment and deployment.
Pioneers leading in AI integration are seeing direct growth benefits, while "wait and watch" companies risk missing out on innovation. The report emphasizes the importance of aligning AI strategies with overall business growth to gain a competitive edge.
Tektonic AI Secures $10M in Funding
Tektonic AI has secured $10 million in funding to develop GenAI agents for automating complex enterprise processes. The company, founded by Nic Surpatanu, aims to address the gap in traditional automation by creating AI-powered agents capable of handling dynamic and complex tasks. These agents will streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and boost employee satisfaction by automating time-consuming manual processes.
Responsible AI Institute Launches AI Policy Template
Responsible AI Institute launched an AI Policy Template to help businesses establish responsible AI practices. Recognizing the widespread adoption of AI but the lagging development of ethical guidelines, RAI Institute created a detailed, customizable template to assist organizations in building their own AI policies. This template aligns with global standards like NIST and ISO/IEC 42001 and is designed to help companies integrate responsible AI into their overall business strategy.
The template is part of RAI Institute's Responsible AI Hub, which offers resources and assessments to support organizations in their AI journey. By providing a solid foundation for AI governance, the template aims to accelerate responsible AI adoption and mitigate potential risks. RAI Institute is seeking feedback on the template to ensure it meets the evolving needs of businesses.
Additionally, if you want to learn more about what’s developing around the GenAI space, Generative AI Expo 2025 is for you.
